To ensure the safe and efficient transportation of your goods, it is crucial to utilize appropriate packaging materials in Sydney. These materials include cartons, plastic covers, packaging tape, and wrapping paper.

1. Standard Cartons are perfect for items such as crockery, glassware, folding clothes, and linen.
2. Book/Crystal Cartons, on the other hand, are smaller and more suitable for heavy items like books, wine, and foodstuffs. They are also ideal for fragile articles like crystal glasses.
3. Portarobe Cartons serve as portable wardrobes for hanging clothes and can also accommodate oversize items. It is highly recommended to use Portarobes on the day of your move.
4. Plastic Covers are essential for protecting soft furnishings from dirt and damage. China Bear offers heavy-duty plastic bags for this purpose. Additionally, specialized plastic covers are available in various sizes to safeguard mattresses, sofas, ensemble bases, and cushions. Please note that lightweight plastic covers are intended for storage use only and do not provide sufficient protection during transit.
5. Tissue Paper may be necessary for silverware, especially if it is being stored, or for delicate porcelain.
6. Bubble-wrap is used to provide extra protection for quality frames, glazed pictures, and other fragile items.
7. Kraft-wrap, which combines bubble-wrap with an additional layer of brown paper, is suitable for oil paintings. It can also be used as an alternative to Removal Pads for wrapping furniture during transport, commonly known as “International Wrapping.”
8. Packaging Tape is essential for sealing cartons and plastic packages. Typically, one roll of packaging tape can seal around 30 cartons.
9. Wrapping Paper is used specifically to protect china and crockery.

For your convenience, we offer Free Carton Delivery & Retrieval services. Upon request, we can deliver cartons to you at no additional cost. After your move, we will collect flattened reusable cartons and wrapping paper.

In our commitment to protecting the environment, China Bear Removals recycles cartons whenever possible. Rest assured that all cartons provided are clean and in good condition. Please note that damaged or soiled cartons are not suitable for reuse.
